TBSE(Tripura Board of Secondary Education) was first established in the year 1973 by the act of Tripura Board of Secondary Education Act, 1973. TBSE started their work from the 1st Jan. 1976. TESE conduct their examination of 10th class by old system. This board is held for examination centers, examination paper, time table, admit card and all the examination results.

The main activities of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education is conduct examination and declare their result. This board is also declared examination papre, toime table and exam hall ticket. TBSE is declared exam result after the external examination on their official website.

TBSE is generally taken their examination on the month of March or April.
Tripura Board of Secondary Education declare their Tripura 10th result or Tripura 10th class results on their official website tripuraresults.nic.in during May or June in month.
After Pass 10th Class Examination :
After pass 10th class examination student can Apply for 11th standard with arts,commerce,science stream. Candidate may also join Diploma Engineering with E.C., Mechanical, Civil, Aeronotics, Automobiles like many streams. They can also apply in D.Pharm and Nursing.
